Ode to the Riad: Spring Styled Shoot

After visiting Marrakech for the first time last month we fell in love with the vibe. It was the serenity and elegance of the Riads that inspired us to pay homage to Morocco in this styled shoot.

“Ode to the Riad” was a collaboration with a team of talented creatives in a completely unique location. Photography by Lena was a mixture of film and digital format, we loved the light she managed to capture even though it was a cloudy Spring day. You can check out the Gran Villa Rosa on their website and instagram @granvillarosa.

All of the furnishings were bought from Morocco and there was a very Riadesque water feature which we couldn’t get enough of. Floral styling perfect for a Spring Barcelona wedding by Pepe Von StrudelThe lovely Adina from Adina’s Cake Boutique made our palette of yellow, mint, gold and dusty blue even sweeter with her creations. Calligraphy by Caligrafia Bilbao added a romantic touch and engagement rings by our favourite Barcelona brand Joya Blanca Barcelona looked mighty fine velvet ring boxes by @velvetlaces.

We wanted a relaxed and comfortable bridal look, so opted for a jumpsuit by Mireia Barcelona complete with mint green waist tie. We loved the sultry smoky eyes by Natalia from @stayshiny_bcn And what better way to complete this look than with a luxurious and on trend headpiece by Italian brand Bridal Turban? But it wasn’t all about the bride, our groom also looked stylish in his deep blue tux and matching bow tie. All we were missing was a nice Shisha and a Moroccan mint tea.
