Hi, I’m Becky and I’m the Barcelona-loving founder of Barcelona Brides. I’m originally from the UK but have lived in Germany, the US and now in Barcelona for over 12 years. Before starting Barcelona Brides I was working in international PR and events including the Wimbledon Championship, Royal Ascot and the opening of stores in UK and Australia.
Together with my amazing team members Maily and Claudia we are dedicated to planning your Barcelona wedding.
And why do I want to plan your Barcelona wedding?
I love weddings because they are a celebration of love. I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to spend all day everyday talking and thinking about weddings and to be part of such a wonderful moment.
Apart from weddings my passions in life are art galleries and museums, which is where I always get my best ideas and where I like to spend my free time. I also love to ride and have been riding horses and carriage driving my whole life. I get inspiration from the countryside, flowers, plants and nature. I’m obsessed with Costa Rica, (animals like sloths and racoons are my goals) and places like Miami, Lisbon and the Costa Brava. When I am not planning weddings I like to play football (I am on the Poblenou Women’s team ?, read (I’ve read everything by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Isabel Allende and George Orwell) and watch documentaries, series and films (but nothing without a firm rotten tomato).
As all my brides know I am there from the beginning until way past the end. Each wedding I take on is planned and designed with the same love and precision as if it were my own. I take the responsibility very seriously. For this reason I have a dedicated team on the day of the wedding and always include as many visits and as much contact as possible before the wedding.
For me the secret is getting to know the couple and incorporating their personality into every element of the wedding day. Our goal is always to surprise our clients and make every second of their wedding stay in Barcelona perfect.
