M&P Tarragona Wedding: Interview
Magical, Incredibly Joyful. We loved how our gorgeous Venezuelan bride Mate described her wedding and we loved featuring her Tarragona wedding interview and photos by Fotoclip Studio on our Blog.
What was your favorite memory from your Barcelona wedding?
We were constantly struck by the overwhelming presence of our loved ones who had traveled from all corners of the world to celebrate with us. The unity of our dear ones in one place at one time was truly heartwarming.
Why did you choose this venue for your Tarragona wedding?
With family and friends residing in Barcelona, and our deep connection to the Mediterranean, selecting this picturesque location was a natural choice. Our most cherished memories are always intertwined with the sea, and we wanted our wedding day to be no exception.
What did you love most about your wedding dress? How and where did you find it?
I adored its simplicity and timelessness. I discovered it in a boutique store in Miami.
If you did it all again what might you change?
I’ve always had a penchant for control, but in the days leading up to the wedding, I learned that life’s most beautiful moments are often unplanned. In hindsight, I wouldn’t change a thing.
Tell us about the blooms. What was your favorite thing about your wedding flowers?
We loved the incorporation of tropical elements into the floral arrangements, and the inclusion of orchids from the bouquet held special meaning, as orchids are the national flower of Venezuela.
What is your advice for other couples getting married in Barcelona?
Choose Barcelona Brides to plan your wedding and embrace the vibrant culture and stunning surroundings that Barcelona offers. Take time to savor the moments, as they pass by quickly.
What cultural aspects did you include in your Tarragona wedding?
We fused elements of Brazilian and Venezuelan culture through cuisine, music, and even tropical-inspired flower arrangements and cocktails. We incorporated traditions like an entrance to the banquetand speeches, which are not typical in our home countries but are common in Spanish weddings. We missed having flamenco though!
What song brings you back to the day and why?
One of the best memories we had on that date was the moment of our entrance to the banquet, accompanied by the saxophone rendition of “Beautiful Now” by TuMusica. That song truly encapsulates the essence of our magical day.
We are so grateful to M&P for their review:
Our experience with Barcelona Brides was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we contacted them over a year before our wedding date, we knew we had made the right choice. Even though we have family and friends in Barcelona and have visited numerous times, their expertise in the local wedding landscape was unmatched.
After meeting with several wedding planners, we ultimately selected Barcelona Brides because their level of organization and knowledge surpassed all others. Claudia, our main point of contact, was a true gem. She consistently demonstrated resourcefulness, patience, and kindness throughout the entire planning process. No matter how many times we changed our minds on various aspects, she made decision-making feel effortless, always maintaining her patience.
On our wedding day, Claudia and Maily were instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly. They handled decoration arrangements, DIY projects, and were readily available to address any logistical issues that arose. With a wedding party as large as ours (11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen), managing logistics was an added challenge, but Barcelona Brides delivered flawlessly.
We cannot express our gratitude enough to Barcelona Brides for their invaluable support. Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing, thanks to their dedication and expertise. Thank you immensely for making our dreams come true!
