Bollywood Theme Castle Mehndi surrounded by Vineyards

They loved wine, they loved the “wow factor” and they loved Bollywood. So we brought all their favourite things together to bring Tina and Jay their completely unique Sitges Castle Mehndi. Planned by Barcelona Brides and held at an amazing Vineyard slash Castle just 40 minutes out of Barcelona, and 15 minutes out of Sitges. The beautifully kept gardens of this castle were perfect for a laid back and fun filled Castle Mehndi!

We first met Tina and Jay at the beginning of 2018 when all three of us were working at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona. Being in the same place at the same time definitely felt like fate. And after our initial venue scouting trip, they fell in love with Sitges and it’s sea views.

Even though this was a 3 day wedding, the Mehndi location was super important and we wanted it to contrast with the other venues in their itinerary. A Castle Mehndi ticked all the boxes for Tina and Jay.

The Bollywood theme allowed us to play with colour and posters of their favourite movies together with lawn games and food truck catering added to the fun. Neither the couple nor their guests were expecting a live Bollywood dance show performed by guests after hours and hours of practise via webcam.

After the snacks of nachos and vegetarian wok were unrolled lady guests got started with henna which was provided by Henna by Pat.Later in the night the guests enjoyed mojitos, sangria, wine and cava as well as gyozas and tandoori chicken served via the rotisserie on the back of the food truck. The food was certainly part of the entertainment.

Of course the groom’s initials also had to be incorporated into the bride’s henna design.
