Warehouse Venues enable you to reflect your personality and make the space your own.
You need to watch out for the following points in your venue contract and read the small print:
1.Total Cost as you may not have been quoted the total cost of hiring the venue, you need to be aware of the overall hire fee plus any extra charges which have been added such as hire of chairs and tables, corkage, extra costs related to menu modifications.
2.Payment Terms because it’s your responsibility to know when the deposit for the venue should be paid so you don’t miss any payment deadlines. Progressive payments
3.Site Restrictions and Policies you need to be aware of policies such as letting the venue know the final numbers either one or two weeks prior to the event.
4.Cancellation policy so you know what costs may be incurred in the event of a cancellation. Depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made you may still incur extra charges. Most deposits are non-refundable.
5.Liability so you know if the venue is held responsible for breakages, loss of power, any loss or the theft of goods brought into the venue by an outside party.
